(Vitoria-Gasteiz, 1992)
She studied Industrial Design Engineering and Product Development at Mondragon University before embarking on a new stage in Barcelona, while pursuing a master’s degree in Furniture Design at Elisava Barcelona School of Design and Engineering.
During this period, “En Salmón Mosataza” was born, where she and her master’s companion and entrepreneur Andrea Gelpí embarked on their journey together while designing the Ophelia lamp. As the designers themselves state, “Ophelia was created with the aim of not being a mere casing for light, but a lamp capable of adapting to its user.”
After a period together, Iratxe decided to embark on a new path at Danone as a packaging engineer and designer, making a significant shift in her career. As of today, she resides in Ghent (Belgium), where she leads a packaging development team for the Alpro and Danone brands at a European level.
